I know that turning point from the inside. After more than 15 years in international health, I was burned out and in so much pain that the only move I could see was to leave everything. I took a leap to a new city and country, and I left a relationship and a job abruptly. I’m grateful I did, but it took years to feel I was making progress, and I did damage I wish I could have avoided.
I had always made vision boards, but part of me couldn’t believe I could have a life I enjoy without suffering for it. My pain had all my attention, so I couldn’t see how much good was already there. When I finally got clear on my vision, I found that a lot of it was already in my life. That changed how I think and act, and the changes I made after came from there, not from pain.
That’s what I’m building for other women. You can start by finding out what you’re really asking for, and what is already good, and build from there.
